Eating hete one year ago, the food was terrific, but I had scallops recently and half were bad. They had a foul odor and taste and when sent back, I was told that the cook said 'no they are not bad.' I did become ill afterward. I will not eat here again.

Awful. I ordered a country style, 3 egg omelet from a menu online. It has potato in the omelet, but comes with a side of fried potatoes. I got home... no side of fried potatoes. I called, and the lady said they put the potatoes IN the omelet. Seemed odd, but... ok. I ordered the same thing today, and the lady was confused when I asked for the SIDE of potatoes on the side, instead of in it. She said the side of potatoes IS on the side, do I want the potatoes that are supposed to be in it, also on the side? So. Right there, I DIDN'T get the potatoes I was supposed to, and the lady at the diner lied. Then I go to pick up today's order, not complaining about the missing side last time. I mentioned it... but they didn't seem interested in making it right. So, when I pick up today's order, one container comes out. I asked, "are the potatoes on the side?" She said, "should be." I open it... no potatoes. She goes back and comes out with another container. I go home, open it... wrong omelet. And the potatoes are underdone (I ASKED for well done, when she asked me, while placing my order.) So... 2 visits, 5 mistakes, including one flat-out lie. There will not be a 3rd visit.

The food is excellent, portions are large enough for a big man, and the prices are more than reasonable. Michael the owner is a wonderfully kind man. The wait staff is very knowledgeable about what they are serving, very kind, friendly and personable. We love coming here! Thank you Michael!

Best diner in Berks County! The breakfast was delicious! The waitress was amazing and service super fast. We had the breakfast special. Take time out of your busy schedule to enjoy a perfect breakfast on a beautiful large white plate. You won’t be disappointed !
