It's a great place for kids of all ages! It's a place to swing have a picnic, play ball, relax in the shade. Let your dog's run in the field. This is definitely one of my favorite parks and our kid's & grandkids love it as well. They even have toys for babies.

Tiny little park in a super friendly and sweet town. Great place to watch fireworks on the 4th of July. The farmers market is closeby on one Saturday of every month in the warm months.

The park IS next to the pavilion and is along the river but you cannot see it. There is a large hill and railroad tracks between park and river. You can walk to the river if desired. I do not know if they rent the space or first come first serve. Check with county or scottsville to see but I have seen large groups use it before, I would assume without prior arrangements.
