In March 2022, I went to this Great Clips location on 3940 Challenger Ave. Roanoke, VA. A female stylist who had cut my hair once before at this location cut it again. That is the LAST time I will go to this Great Clips location even if I have an $8.99 coupon. From what I can tell it looks like she has been a hair stylist at this Great Clips location for many years.

I would not recommend to anyone. I would give zero stars if possible. I went in for a simple trim, my hair is long with no layers and a slight face frame, nothing complicated. She cut my hair in less than 5 minutes, and now my hair is significantly uneven and choppy. I need to go somewhere else to fix the haircut I got at this greatclips. Not only was the haircut performed bad, but also she insulted me about my profession, yanked on my hair a ton, shoved my head around and brushed my glasses off my face, let them hit the floor and said don't worry about it. Don't go here unless you are desperate and want a cheap, fast cut. I have never written reviews before, but I am so appalled with this experience I felt the need to warn others.

Worst hair cutting experience ever. The lady who cut my hair was very rude and not qualified to cut hair or even understood a simple thing that I requested her to do.

I have been to this location several times. Always a decent cut sometimes better than others. Went today and got my hair cut by Kaitlyn. This is the best cut I have gotten at great clips. Kaitlyn was very thorough and was able to give me the exact cut I asked for.
