Changing your hours to not be open on Mondays was really inconvenient. Other then that the deli is amazing they have great sandwiches. Coffee is cheap and you can taste that for sure. Baked goods are really good as well.

Dependably tasty scones, muffins, quiches, granolas, soups, salads, and high-quality coffee beverages. Locally owned, and a let’s-hang-out-and-talk Euro atmosphere. 3-season outdoor seating. Many southhill neighbors, and travelers frequent this gem of a baking haven.

This was my second visit. Moved to Spokane this year and Rockwood is the best bakery I have found so far. They know how to make a latte correctly and the pastries are excellent. A BIG drawback is the limited parking but this is in a residential area and of course that is also part of the charm. Coffee is pretty slow to come but overall a great place to have a cup and chat with friends.

In Montana, where I am visiting from, there is no shortage of amazing grains, pastries, and bakeries. My group came to Rockwood with Hope's of eating the best that Spokane has to offer and we were not disappointed! First, The Chiche was fluffy and flavorful. Next, the turnover was pleasantly large and had fresh cherries and the perfect amount of powdered sugar. The espresso was crisp and very hot. Plenty of seating in a comfortable and classic atmosphere reminds one of a movie set.
