We were told by locals that this is the best restaurant. We had the raw tuna salad, we had some fishy tasting tuna. We had the scallops for dinner. They were okay+. Would I go back again? Not certain. For sure, I would not order seafood. Perhaps I would order "land food" like steak, chicken, pork, etc. The creme brule was very nice. The Peppermint Patty hot drink - wonderful. I gave it a 3.0 but would have rated it 3.5 but that was not an option.

Came here on a Monday night with reservations at 7:45pm. Very understanding that there is short staffing during COVID times, but we did not receive our meals until 9:00pm. Probably only 10 tables in the entire restaurant, pretty unacceptable. I ordered the “Jumbo Shrimp and Grits”, and let me tell you I was highly unimpressed. It cost $30 and it was a meal that and came with 5 pieces of normal sized shrimp, 5 pieces of razor thin sausage, the grits totaled to about the size of a half dollar, and 90% of the dish was peppers. Are you kidding me? Also, I ordered an “Old Fashioned” that was unbelievably too strong and had no flavor other than the whiskey that was in it. If you come to Snowshoe don’t waste your time at this restaurant, the bar upstairs has better food.

After a day of snowboarding we decided to try this restaurant. Very impressed!! Great fine food and a huge selection of wine. Service was great.

Absolutely delicious food, everything was perfectly prepared. We had beat salad, beef carpaccio, the trout, and venison meatloaf. It was as good a meal as I have had anywhere. The service was very slow, a good 15 minutes to be greated and given water (parched after a day on the mountain) and then drink orders, checkout, and being checked on was slow. Could almost take away a star, but the food was so good. And one should have a liitle more patience on vacation, right?

Not the entire staff however most servers would do it for their table. I definitely will for my tables even though I cant sing!!
It is a ski resort do you can wear whatever, just don't wear your ski boots. I wore hiking boots, jeans and a decent warm top. No problems. Remember you are in west Virginia,
