Unfortunately the service at this location has gone downhill over the years. As a military family, it used to be an easy, pleasant experience for me to call this location's bakery to purchase goodies as gifts for my parents, who live nearby and are frequent customers. It used to be so simple! I choose a dessert. I pay. My parents pick it up. Easy, right? NO! Not anymore! Consider yourself extremely fortunate if you call and are able to speak with someone who doesn't treat you like the village idiot. The customer service is absolutely atrocious; truly an embarrassment to your entire company. You have lost our loyal business forever.

Stopped in to A.J.’s to pick up a few things and had the misfortune of running into Andy who works for AJ’s. I was attempting to check out and Andy was standing in the checkout lane texting on his cell phone. As he walked around the counter to actually ring me up he never looked up and I had to walk around him so he wouldn’t walk into me as he continued to text as he was getting ready to ring me up. I set my items on the counter and Andy continued to text. When he finally finished typing, he rang up my order with no greeting. I paid for my order and he gave me my receipt with absolutely no communication, and he got back to texting. Extremely poor service.

Had made a custom cake order from the bakery for a birthday. Paid $80 for it and when it came to the day of the party we go to pick it up and find a crack in it. We mention it to the employee at the bakery section and she says "you should be fine." We didn't make it to the party before the cake was completely distroyed. I now have a crying birthday boy with a damaged cake. I call and speak with the manager and he had the audacity to tell me I shouldn't have signed the waiver and taken the cake. After putting me on hold, all he could offer me was a random generic cake that's already made (keep in mind I had ordered a custom power rangers cake way in advance) and only offered to give me the difference. On top of it I had to leave the birthday party to go pick it up. Do yourself a favor and go to a decent bakery. Customer service was rude, didn't handle the situation properly and offered no real solutions. I had to come up with solutions.
