I found St Mary's in a search when I first returned to Tucson 2.5 years ago. Homemade from scratch, and cooked to perfection. Having lived in C/S America, this is the type of food that when you begin to eat it, you can feel your body recognize the purity and wholesomeness of it. Portions are generous, service...they take care of you like family. I could not recommend them more highly. The Best Inexpensive Quality Food in the Entirety of Tucson. 100% I ❤ them!

This place has changed drastically, the past couple of months. We've been coming here for years. Always recommended it to family and friends. But today is the last day for our service. They completely got our order wrong, had no sympathy about it. Did not try to correct the problem or even apologize. The customer service is HORRIBLE!! We began to notice a couple of months ago but still tried to take chances on coming here. NEVER AGAIN!! Take your hard earned money else where, these people are not at all appreciated for their customers.

St Mary's Mexican Food is a comfortable take out restaurant that created a comfortable waiting area for your take out order to be freshly created. Among the many traditional Mexican items we ordered, their birria burrito was among the best we have enjoyed in Tucson. The shredded beef taco, and cheese enchilada were enjoyable with the only part of the meal that we would have preferred to be more flavorful were the beans and rice. St Mary's Mexican is a true Tucson treasure that we enjoy frequently.
