Thank You but no thanks. It is so challenging to get the right information via My Chart - by phone or once in the facilities. It is nothing personal but their MA's medical assistants are so poorly informed and capable. It becomes confusing for all of us esp. given critical health care needs these days and the super high costs. I hope to change this to 5 stars if we can get some closure on current issues. Best regards.

The one star reviewers seem to have experienced a Confluence in another universe. I've been using the clinic and hospital since 1980. I, nor any of my family members, have ever experienced what these people describe. I've had stage 4 lung cancer and was treated effectively and compassionately. I recently had a bad heart attack, the type nicknamed the "Widow Maker." Within the hour that I entered the hospital, I was diagnosed and had a heart stent in place. The phone system, though, does leave a lot to be desired.

If negative stars were an option that is what Confluence Health would receive. How they can justify charging $610 for a 40-mintue video "consult" during which the doctor did nothing more than regurgitate my pre-appointment questionnaire, make diagnoses that are well documented in my chart for 15+ years, and refer me to 3 more doctors is beyond comprehension. I've spent more time on the phone trying to get justification for this exorbitant charge than the length of the appointment. Are they willing to adjust the charge, of course not . . . but my "concern will be relayed." Absolute waste of time and money.

Health Alliance insurance will only pay full benefits if I see someone from the Confluence group. Here is the rub, there is Insufficient health care staffing. Most appointments are at least two months out. So I either suffer for two months or pay out of pocket. Can anybody say insurance reform?

No, but my understanding is that care is not denied to anyone regardless of their ability to pay.
The changed their new phone system and apparently they didn't tell the public, or want to help the public with making sure the elderly have access to the fax numbers. Confluence is just getting worse every year.
