The place was very clean and the employees were happy and talking and they were a good mood. The downstairs I was totally amazed incredibly organized clean just amazing to me I really enjoyed myself

I live over an hour away. I called ahead to see if they have what I am looking for. They said yes, come in and see. I got there over an hour before closing. They refused entry, stating they are closed, their till is already counted. So, don't count on them being open when they say. They also don't care if they talked to you and you came a long way.

Veterans Warehouse used to be my favorite local thrift-shop. Sure you had to rummage through lots of junk, but I was often rewarded for my efforts with some fun ‘treasures’. Unfortunately their prices have gotten OUTRAGEOUS! The picture included is a great example. I actually took this item to the front, out of curiosity, wondering if there was a price-gun malfunction going unnoticed. When I asked if this was really the price ,$21for this…. whatever it is, I was told that it was because the item was hand-made 😂. The picture does not do justice to how crooked and ridiculous this thing was. Unfortunately, this was far from the only example. I will not be visiting this store anymore, nor will I be taking my donations there. Really a bummer that they’ve gotten so unreasonable.

Our family love thrift store and this is one of our favorite. We had so much fun spent time finding treasure at the store. Down stair use to be such a mess but now is wow!! They are more organize and more stuff come in all the time. This is a fun place to be definitely recommend.

the veterans warehouse thrift store is 501c3. like all business, there are costs (rent, insurance, garbage, wages, etc). We give away around $1.5 to $2 million dollars worth of services (clothing, sleeping bags, couches, backpacks, beds, bicycles, shoes, etc.) as for giving away cash, we have helped with electric bills, rent and bus/train tickets (as money is available). I hope that answered your question. if you have any more questions, please come to the store, and we would be happy to give a copy of our tax return and a break down on each program and what it assisted with.
Normally they don't take beds but give them a call they may if it's in very good condition.
The phones have been unreliable lately. They do not know why that keeps happening.
Yes, not on Sunday...
