First time camping here. The cabin was nice. The campground was quiet most of the time, after people left or came back from the dunes. The showers were clean and had hot water at the times I used them. Dune access was fun road to drive on. Definitely going to make this a yearly trip.

I have stayed at Riley Ranch for 10 years always a great time, clean bathrooms, very well maintained, nice staff. Unfortunately I hate to leave this review but the new staff is terrible, the older gentleman that’s the new caretaker drives around harassing people continuously over petty stuff. I tried to have a conversation with him about pestering us and he responded that it’s his park and he makes the rules, Then dispatched the sheriff to have some of our group removed with no warning or reason. The camp host said there are countless complaints about this. The state should not have someone like this managing their park. Very disappointed loved riley ranch, we’re going to try box cars new spots.

The first time my family got to go on the dunes with our new truck we got lost, got stuck and it was pouring rain. Rileys Ranch was the light at the end of our tunnel thanks to there easy to find signs and directions to their campground trail my husband found our way out. So we wanted to say thanks for being there Thanks from the Penn family

The campground is perfect if you are coming with a group. Staff keep the restrooms and showers clean at all times. I never saw the staff but I planned on thanking them for the cleanliness. The campground was full when we were there and everyone was very friendly and nice. If you get a chance, this is money well spent!

Yes there is a entrance and exit of the dunes next to the entrance of the campsite.
Yes showers are free and also bring my own firewood. They discourage you from bringing it but they don't stop you
There is a small track at Riley in the day use area to the left after you turn in. I think it is 5 dollars a day.
I don't think so. Just nice bathrooms and showers.
We have brand new paddle tires on our RZR and it is not bad. There are rocks but its flat.
No you take the dirt road that goes over the rr tracks then onto the dunes. It the dunes from Spin reel to horsefall. If you do want to go to hauser then yes you do take the whoop road.
There's a website with a link. It is pretty easy to use and you can pay and pick your spot. http://www.co.coos.or.us/Departments/CoosCountyParks/RileyRanch.aspx
Heat in the cabin yes, but it is a room with bunks and a futon and a table. There are fire pits outside and picnic tables. The restroom with showers is down and to the right and is shared with the whole camp. Men and women's sides. There were porta-potties at the end of the drive to the cabins.
