The dunes in North Bend are a BLAST! We take the WHOLE family out here! Any campground you stay at in North Bend with dunes access is freakin awesome!

Each year we have a large group of friends meet up here. It is clean and fellow campers are respectful.

Nice place to take long exploring walks. Ideal if you have off road vehicles! The camp host is very nice. Love waking to the sound of the engines of the quads starting up in the early mornings.

I will have to agree with the other recent reviews and say, there is a lack of organization here. My wife and i had booked and reserved a site for 2 nights way in advance as it is a 3.5 hour drive for us but when we arrived, past checkout time (1:30pm), our site was still completely occupied (tent, trailer, multiple cars, kids but no adults) and the host was not on site anywhere. His unit closed, vehicle gone and a sign informing of host unavailable. The people that were in our site were still on the dunes riding and did not return and clear out until almost 3pm, well after check in cutting in to our reserved time. There was zero effort made by the host (once he did arrive) to enforce any quiet time or speed limit rules, our neighbors on both sides were up until well past 2am being loud around their fire, and the rigs driving through camp seemed to be a bit faster then they should have been. Bathroom and showers were clean, but the shower takes tokens ONLY, quarters will not work. We did enjoy ourselves once we finally got settled but will probably not use that campground again in the future. I'll give it high stars just because of the hot showers and direct dune access from the campground.

May 24th thru 27th
Thank you for the reply do you know if they’re closed all year ?
Not a clue you would have to call them. We camped there awhile ago.
Yep
Thanks all i stopped by, they talk $1 and $5 only
You would be best to look online @ recreation.gov make sure you chose Horsfall campsite not Horsfall beach camping.
Unless you camp @ the beach, then it is just a few steps from your site
The reedsport office has access to make changes
No, sorry we have neither. But there are a few nearby in north bend/coos bay area
Still 25 a day no matter what you're camping with...
There is an equestrian camp ground just down the Road from horsefall
It is 20 or 25 a night plus a 10 dollar reservation fee. No sites have power or water but there is a few spickets throughout the campground you can get water at.
As far as I know there aren't any limits and we have people put up tents every trip in our group all the time in the grass areas with no hassle.
Yes they do. Last Year I was very surprised how clean the shower facility was. Bring your quarters.
yes
No ,,the bath room are open tho
It was when we were staying at August 31st. But due to severe wildfires, things might have changed temporarily now..
20' enclosed trailer 24' foot trailer
