This was my first time dropping off stuff. The woman in the office was friendly and explained the process to me, which was pretty straightforward. Will be back if I have additional things to recycle.

This place is a great place to take in your metal to recycle they are fair on the amount. the girls in the office are great and always treat me with a smile, the yard guy that works the crane is great and knows what he is doing. unloaded me a couple times amazing to watch how good he is.

Came up as a result of a search for 'appliance salvage' since I'm looking to replace the broken glass on my oven door, hoping to find an inexpensive used one. Called and was told by the woman who answered the phone they don't sell anything out of their yard, they only recycle. I said' that IS recycling'. She said they only buy, they don't sell anything. Confused, I asked how they make any money. She then got really rude, raised her voice and said they sell across the country but not to the public and rudely hung up. Terrible attitude. Not sure if it's company wide or her response to having a bad day, but it was uncalled for and bad for business...even if they're not in that business. I encourage ownership/management to address customer courtesy on the phone.

This place is awful. I went into the office and the young lady inside was playing on her phone and ignored me for quite a few minutes. The yard is a mess, you can't even get around. I got a nail in my tire which really pissed me off. My husband and I have been going here for years and it's just gone downhill. There used to be a guy on the crane who was amazing, he was always willing to help, and was so nice but he's no longer there. Nobody cares there anymore. I will no longer bring my stuff there, I will go to metro metals they are friendly and prices are better. Who ever owns this place get it together before one of your customers or employees gets injured.

They take anything even stoves and refrigerators they even take tv's and anything aluminum
Yes they accept anything metal they take the rims off tires also
Well they pay you for the scrap price on your vehicle
If I remember correctly you need to have the title in hand. If the title is not in your name then the registered owner needs to sign off on it and also provide a bill of sale to the person who is wanting to recycle it. Also know that if you provide all needed paperwork, you'll probably only get about $300 maximum. Best bet would be to try and sell it to a person for a little more.
They do but the compressor would need to be cut out of it first
They will take anything is metal
do you take clean tin canc
AC units only if the refrigerant has been extracted. Not sure about the wooden slats. Probably not. Recommend taking the slats off first.
Anything with metal. Scrap metal. They take cars to. Running or not. 👍
If it is in usable condition then you can drop it off at the habitat for humanity restore on 181st and Glisan. If it is not usable then the closest place I know of is East County recycling on 122nd and San Rafael behind Winco.
