We purchased new siding, soffits, and gutters from Window World. While we are satisfied with the siding and soffits, we are very unsatisfied with the gutters. Large leaks were identified immediately after the installation. Our "new" gutters are far inferior to what we had before their upsell. Our complaints have gone mostly ignored for the last 16 months since the install. Window World contracted the gutter work out to a 3rd party company without our knowledge whose installer claims he was told by Window World to put up cheap narrow gutters and to not speak to the homeowners during the install. Regardless of whether that claim is true or false, Window World and the 3rd party contractor have skirted all responsibility and accountability for the much needed repairs. The company's claim to hold in regard quality products, quality workmanship, and quality customer service is rather suspect.

35 windows and doors installed, good pricing. However, service is very bad once they've been paid. We had a glass defect in a one of the doors and one year later we still await replacement. Multiple calls resulting in promises made to us but still no resolution. Just learned last week that the previous Portland-area owner has left and corporate is running the show for now. Left them a message, no anwser as of now. Frustrating to say the least!

We were generally happy with the 6 windows Window World Portland installed. The problem started when we needed service. They never answer the phones and never return calls. I've been trying for months to get someone to respond. This is ridiculous. I bought new windows with a service agreement but the service does not exist.

At Window World of Portland, it's our goal for each and every one of our customers to feel comfortable throughout their home improvement experience. After installing your new replacement windows, we remove all old windows from your property and dispose of them properly. If you wish to keep your old windows or storm windows, please notify the installation crew as soon as it arrives for your installation.

Generally, replacement windows can be installed within 4-8 weeks from the date that the final measurements are taken. The type of window being installed and type being removed help determine the amount of time needed to complete the job. On average, each window takes about 30 minutes. Trim work and cleanup will require additional time to complete. An average job will take a single day.
Please take down curtains, blinds, or any other window treatments. Security sensors should also be removed and turned off by your security company. Please provide our installation expert with a clear path to the window(s) being replaced by moving anything that may be in the way. It is also advisable to remove all wall decorations from the walls close to the windows as they may fall during removal or installation.
Window World of Portland installs replacement windows year-round. An average installation will take only one day. Our crews install one window at a time and are trained to do what they can to minimize heating/cooling loss. The energy savings from your new windows will recover any incremental energy costs incurred during their installation many times over during their lifetime.
The majority of our replacement windows are installed from the outside. In some situations, it may be necessary to install from the inside. On the day of installation, your installation expert will assess your unique situation and explain the process that will best suit your home.

The term "Any Size" refers to any size replacement Double-Hung window our manufacturer will construct. Currently, this is a minimum width and height of 15" X 26" and a maximum of 48" X 78". "Installed" refers to the removal of a basic Double-Hung wooden window and installing your new Window World of Portland replacement window, using the existing wooden stops.
