They value robbers more than employees.

Place was run down, full of dirt in corners and plain nasty. Apparently they also fired an employee for fending off a robber with his pistol. If that's the case, this is a disgusting chain of stores.

Horrible business to fire an employee who protected himself and your store. No one should shop at a place that doesn't protect their employees. And now you have advertised your business to other criminals letting them know your place is a safe and easy target. Congrats.

Questions & Answers

Do you honestly think this was worth firing him over? Even if you try to make up for it you'll never get business from ANY real Americans again...

That's ok, they have plenty of Mexicans who live there.

What's it like to be such a liberal loser that you fire an employee for defending his life from a hatchet wielding robber? Very unAmerican.

It's a lot like having erectile dysfunction and a little like eating tide pods I hear.

If you value your employees, why don't you put them behind some bullet proof glass? I won't be shopping at your establishment EVER!

Just wait until all the other thugs hear about this policy. They will be robbed all the time now.

Anyone who believes that everyone has the right to protect themselves should avoid this store forever. You just gave every theif in the Portland area an important peice of information. I'm sure your store will be redistributing its wealth regularly.

Hopefully thieves will find out where the owners live, too, since they are so anti self-defense. Bet they have nice stuff because they do nothing for those minimum wage workers they throw to hatchet wielding dogs! Such kind, superior idiotic liberal thinking and illogic.

Now that it’s known you won’t allow employees to protect themselves, you are going to get robbed frequently. How will you feel when a robber kills one of your employees? Hopefully it will be you working when it happens. Or your family members.

They will feel great as long as their deceased employee didn't have a weapon to protect themself.

What about the Robber, did you fire him too?

He's invited back to have full rein of the store.
