I booked a 4x8 unit through selfstorage.com. When I arrived the woman behind the desk was standoffish from the beginning. She made sure to take my money first, and then informed me that my small unit had a bar right down the middle, with about A FOOT on each side of it to get around it... so almost impossible to move boxes in and out of, the whole point of a storage unit. When I mentioned that nothing on the website had mentioned a bar down the middle, she said "That's what the B means"-- there was no B on the listing, and how would I know what a B would mean in their system anyway? I asked if there were any other units without the bar and she said yes, for another $20/month. Classic bait and switch. She refused to refund my money that I had already put down, so now I have to dispute it with my bank. Additionally, this was right in the middle of the covid-19 pandemic, and they had no protections in place. I noticed a stark difference when I went to my new storage unit and saw their staff in a mask, boxes set up for social distance, sanitized ipads, etc. Go elsewhere.

We had such a good experience that we've used them twice now. Secure, well kept, and we really liked the gentleman we always spoke with. Would definitely recommend them or use them again.
