I was here awhile back....right before their remodel. I liked the old style better and the advertising on the freezer doors is very distracting but I especially loved the quirky dude at the register. He ordered his own plaque ...introducing himself...and placed it beside the register. He also would tell you a fun titanic trivia fact if you donated to the aids cause. Wow it's individuals like this who make me return to cookie cutter corporations. He was a diamond in the rough. I wish I could see who the person he's going to be in the future .. I know this is a weird review...its supposed to be about Walgreens instead of an employee that stood out and was an individual... I returned there just to see if he still worked there but only saw him there that one time. For the universes sake i hope these individuals keep the world spinning cuz it's too boring out there otherwise. You go you titanic fact lover...you snowflake..your a star, an individual. .a memorable face and personality that I look up to...i enjoy seeing and experiencing your personality. Thank you for being you.. doing your mundane job and reminding me that there are still amazing people who are unique and all themselves. Thank you for letting me see who u truly are for five minutes. It was a gift!! By the way I accidentally gave a thumbs up to a reviewer D@niel M00re who's listed below...I did not mean that I actually meant the opposite because he is a closed-minded individual..it's people like him that would create a totalitarian society of blank faces and blame he's.... like really dude where the hell is your humanity? and how do you think you're so much better than everyone else? Sorry u are stuck on the lower levels of consciousness....

I hate giving bad reviews but the Walgreens is dirty, messy and the pharmacy is always busy and rude. The man who works at the drive thru constantly shouts personal and private information into the mic that you can hear across the store and makes it difficult to talk to the employee at the counter.

This Walgreens (store # 6002 in Mesa, AZ) has progressively gotten worse over the past four years since we have been patrons. Tonight, however, was the epitome of horrible customer care at the pharmacy. To top it off, we were there for scheduled vaccines, yet the pharmacy staff repeatedly ignored us, lost our paperwork, forgot to call us, and made every other manner of error until they were finally an HOUR behind for our appointments! How are people supposed to be convinced that vaccines are easy and convenient when we’ve got venues like this one that are rude, ineffective, and downright dismissive of customers? Avoid this Walgreens at ALL costs!

This location is horrible. The pharmacist was very rude, he even tried to tell me that my child was not covered by my insurance when I know she was. We continue to have issues at this location, and we will be transferring all our prescriptions and going to a different location. I don’t need to be treated poorly, and should not have to drive further just to get treated nicely. The other location we transferred too was very nice, they found our insurance and we ended up paying way less then what we would have. Seems like the pharmacist at this location could careless about helping our family and then tried to charge way more. Do not go to this location..
