Great place to spend the day. If it were more organized as to where to order them, pay for them, etc. It was very confusing and people were lined up all wily nilly.

Don't miss this super fun festival celebrating the whoopie pie, which is essentially portable cake and frosting! Lots of shopping from local crafters, every flavor of whoopie you could imagine, and a quaint setting--a no-brainer! Parking can be tricky so come early!

The set-up for this is awful. You need better organization for the whoopie vendor area. The lines from some booths were so long they blocked other booths. We baked in the hot, hot sun to try to get samples and most had run out of anything other than original flavor within the first 2 hours.

Lots of vendors and great food

When you get to Dover look for the yellow "Free Parking/Shuttle" signs. They'll lead you to the Fairgrounds where there is ample parking and the free shuttle to downtown. See you Saturday!
There are activities for kids of all ages. The ticketed activities are two bounce houses, a bungee jump trampoline, a mechanical bull, and pony rides. There will be a bounce house for kids 7 and under and the other for older kids. The pony rides are all-ages and the other rides are more dependent on height than age....but I don't know the height limits. The free activities are our magic shows by Conjuring Carrol, and free activities presented by the Parkman 4H and Penquis. They have a variety of different activities and games that will be available. Hope that helps!
Hey there, the Handicap Parking is downtown near the festival. I can't seem to attach anything to this message, but if you want to send me your email I can email you the information.
No, you only have to pay once.
So sorry Jackie, yesterday was pretty crazy and we didn't see your question till today. I hope you discovered the parking and shuttle were free :-)
Yes indeed, thanks for asking. Since we're downtown regular town leash laws apply. Just be careful because the pavement can get pretty hot on a sunny day...mind the paws :-) It's also a good idea to bring some water or at least a small dish you can fill with water for them as well. See you Saturday!
Yes indeed, rain or shine - you can't stop the Whoopie :-)
