I have found the staff very helpful but Jeremy who answers the phone is antagonistic, arrogant and seems to have a intellectual deficit. I couldn't wait to not have to talk to him anymore.

Had a wonderful experience with Saco, ME Staff... so kind, patient, and helpful.

If the phones aren't working correctly and it's hard to get through to someone why don't you open up the office?

I recently had ro go into thr Saco office in person during the shutdown for an "emergency". They made me an appointment to go in for the next day, extremely fast, the security guard was great & very friendly, even joking, the woman at the window was wonderful & we were able to get everything taken care of quickly & easily. She was also very nice & personable. Overall it was a great experience lasting for less then 1/2hr, we were able to get everything done & done right. Thank you all in the Saco office.

You can still work while collecting disability. As long as you don't work more than 20 to 25 hrs a week
No
I think everything there is based on appointments. I am not even able to go in to get a copy of my child social that they never sent me. I have to send everything in the mail. Even my drivers license. I wonder if they have a online portal?

Yes.
They're closed on all federal holidays, such as thanksgiving, Christmas, 4th of July, etc.
what documents are needed?
Called SS office in Saco and asked if they still accepted payment for Medicare premiums due and was told that most definitely that YES they did and that the person who waited on me should have known that. I guess she just did not want to deal with it. Unfortunately I had to make two trips down to the Social Security office to accomplish paying for my Medicare Premium but I did get it done.
What is a as card? Did u mean ss card? Ss cards take about 10-14 business days, no weekends or holidays
There wasnt a huge line and dude did his job calmly. It could have been much , much, worse as it is in larger city locations...
yes
No...You are paid the benefit amount calculated on your "actual" date of retirement and no increase other than maybe annual C.O.L. If you want FULL MONEY, WAIT UNTIL AGE 66, if that will be in 2018.
1100 is the typical standard
