Awesome shop, I wish my physician was as detailed, accessible, and caring about my health as Maine Bike Works was with my bike! I would definitely recommend them, they were clear on the diagnosis and the repair was on time and on budget!

Oh my gosh, they responded to my email during their off hours and fixed up my bike in 24 hours. I have never been treated so well at any bike shop. Highly recommend.

I'd been searching for a bike for a while and reached out to these guys early this year, thinking it was a long shot. I was so impressed by their responsiveness, friendliness, and honesty. I ended up working with Theron, who patiently exchanged a zillion emails with me and hooked me up with a custom Salsa Fargo with a Rohloff hub & Gates belt. It is by far the best bike I've ever had--it does everything! Theron spent over an hour with me when I went to pick it up just going over the parts of the bike, explaining how to maintain it, etc. I am so glad I found this place. Everyone here obviously loves bikes, is super knowledgeable, and really cares about the customers.

Was so excited to learn we have a CoMotion dealer in Maine. Yes they were wicked busy, but still managed to get our tandem all tuned up from it getting shipped from our home in Colorado. Nice shop. Great gear. Talented mechanics.

Hi Pieter. Jason here. I'd suggest a Surly's new v.2 Ice Cream Truck. We usually keep a Large built up on hand in the shop for people to check out before we order one in for them. We can also arrange for you to test ride our customer's Mediums and XLs, but I'd advise calling/texting the shop or even better emailing before driving down as Surly is running super low on built ICTs right now. Lots of frames, but complete bikes started to sell out right before Thanksgiving as usual. FWW, Johnny 5's from Terrene Tires are pretty sweet too if you want 5" rubber but want something a little more performance oriented than the 2XLs. We can show you an ICT with Johnny 5's on if you give us a heads up that you are coming down so we can make the arrangements. Cheers till then!
