Update 06/10/2022- I got the Beacon box for $167.00 a month to go with my LTE plan. The box was amazing for a week, but has now been out for a week due to T-Mobile dropping people. I am waiting for a new SIM card. Currently stuck with just LTE which still drops at least 2-3 times a day. Plus it’s summer so I feel like I’m fighting for a spot on the tower now. Ugh…….sad part is that I am not even a resident of Shasta county. I am up here temporarily due to circumstances beyond my control, I still pay rent on my Sacramento place but am really close to being let go from my job. Shasta beam was GREAT, for the 1st 30 days (no money back guarantee after that). Once the 31st day came there were outages, slow speed and finally I am being written up at work because I cannot perform. I have been told by the office that my speed continues to drop so they came and moved the tripod on the roof. I was told that same day that the head on the tripod was going out, but he didn’t replace it? Now I am being told by the Manager that there is no way the equipment is bad because it was new and I cannot upgrade…BUT for $169.00 A MONTH I can drive 30 miles to go get a box that MAY HELP until the fiber optics get put in on the tower. If you work from home using a VPN beware…Trust me, $500.00 later and a company write up for constant internet disruptions.

Internet has been down for 4 days and no one has called to get it fixed. I have called and left messages with "24 hour technical support" that no one answers. Finally get a call back this afternoon saying to not call them back and they will call me next week to schedule a day and a time to get a new SIM card for my internet to work. I am a local business owner and work another job from home as well. Without internet, I have no cell service at home so no employees can reach me and I cannot work. I expressed this to Shasta Beam and they do not care. This is probably the 4th SIM card replacement they are scheduling for us in the last 6 months. We go days without internet all the time and they do not care to get it back up on a timely manner. I own a local family company so I wanted to go that route with our internet, but we will be switching. I have had them over a year and it has been nothing but issues and bad customer service.

Their service is garbage. Constant connection problems and they claim it’s equipment issues. I spent a ton of money on new equipment and still have the same problem. Their 24 hour service does not exist. If you have this service do yourself a favor and cancel it.

Literally the worst internet service provider ever. The owner called to yell at us because we were having internet problems (which is why we called in the first place) that we needed to fix since we run our business from home and they said “it’s not our problem. The next time you call, we’re going to charge you $150 for an appointment” which we had to do already for someone to come out to tell that was fine when it wasn’t. Worst experience ever. So glad we moved. We’ve never had this bad of a customer service prior to recently and honestly, my family and I are extremely disappointed.

Yes, and not limited to Redding only, but also Its surroundings.
Probably not. I had them switch me to T-mobile
My service has been slower then normal the past couple of days as well
Yes, we provide internet services in that area. Though there are a few more factors that determine what type of service we can offer you, such as line of sight to our towers. If you give us a call and speak to Mayra, she can determine what is available at your address, and schedule a site survey if necessary.
I don't believe so, but it would not hurt to call on Monday and check. They provide Internet service via either wireless or satellite depending on what is available where you live. I am not sure if the satellite service can include TV in addition to Internet. What Fox News is looking for to allow streaming is proof that you already have a service where you are paying for the channel. They have no intention of giving it away for free, but if you already have it because you are subscribed to a TV service that includes Fox News, they are willing to provide you with streaming so you can watch it anywhere you have Internet.
