Came in to treat our pups and buy a few cans of doggy food. Clean and well kept. The "clearance" section was a little disheveled and prices not clearly marked, but overall it was a great in and out visit. Hope to see the Christmas items up soon, lots of vacant spots waiting for merchandise.

Yes, personally I'd recommend going to a reptile expo or a breeder instead of a large company, if you wish to purchase a healthy captive bred animal.
Not on the regular, but they do occasionally have one if someone brings one that they can't take care of. They don't have any as of today.
Try a local vet, petco doesn't have a vet.
Each dog depends on the breed as they have different needs. A 15 lb Chihuahua is going to be cheaper than a 15 lb Pomeranian because of the different coat types.
