Fedex was a great place to work until they terminated Dave Durett most likely to save money. They are trying to compete with Amazon. Which looking at customer reviews shows its not working. They say safty above all but instead of the drivers leaving at 730 they now have twice as much work to do leaving two hours later and customer are getting partial deliveries late deliveries or early deliveries. When your trailers come up they shoud be put on the delivery vehicle no later than 730 so the driver can safely deliver the customer package without putting them or the others on the road in danger. Making the delivery vehicle only go 65 with no sign on the back of the truck stating this vehicle can only do 65 miles an hour leaves all of us in danger so please don't tell us safty first because if you were concerned about safety we would have a 730 departure.In my opinion this is the most unorganized company I have ever worked for in fifty years in the work force they do everything they can do to make the delivery driver s job harder which intern comes down to making the customer's experience less enjoyable.

Anyone missing a rug that was supposed to be delivered by FedEx Ground? One of their drivers didn’t feel like delivering it and threw it on the front lawn of their warehouse. We went to retrieve packages of ours that were supposed to be delivered today. They were placed in “delivery exception” status this morning (after already being delayed previously) and when we went to pick them up we were denied even though they were at the facility. Upon driving up to the warehouse, the first thing we see is a rug, that was clearly meant to be delivered, just thrown on the lawn next to the entrance. Obviously, this gives us very little hope that our delivery will ever make it to us. The fact that even the employees within this warehouse are writing one star reviews about the mismanagement and mishandling of packages makes the situation even more startling. The level of incompetence from this “delivery” company is appalling! Every delivery is either late, arrives damaged or never gets delivered.

I HATE fedex. It says that it’s been delivered but it NEVER was delivered. We have cameras in the front doors for this reason. It was never delivered. So someone is lying about it being delivered. Do better fedex.

I was a bit late ordering a big gift for my wife for Christmas. I placed the order and reached out to see if I could pay extra to have shipped faster. The company responded that it shouldn't be necessary as FedEx had already received the package and had it scheduled for delivery Tuesday, Dec 21. I signed into FedEx and saw it was scheduled for Tuesday, 12/21. Great. I remained at home all day Tuesday, because it requires a direct signature. I stayed logged in to FedEx and the delivery stated it was scheduled to be delivered that day, all day, but never arrived. At 8:30 PM, the scheduled delivery changed to "pending". Great. Because I would not be able to sign for it any other day, I was concerned. I used the "manage my delivery" function and requested it be held at a FedEx office in my town. Because I was concerned still, I called customer service to hopefully get reassurance my package would arrive on time. I got anything but. The agent went on to explain how long a package can take to be delivered and started counting the days. I stopped her and said "I'm aware of how shipping works, but it's irrelevant when you post a scheduled delivery date, especially for packages requiring a signature. I changed my schedule to meet that schedule. " I then reminded her I just wanted to know if I should be able to expect the package would arrive at the FedEx office by Thursday or Friday, as it's a Christmas gift. She informed me I'd likely delayed it 48 hours by changing it to the "Hold at FedEx location". Nowhere does it say it will cause delays. I asked her to just cancel that request (I'd made it 15 minutes prior) and was told they can't. I later called the FedEx office location, who were pleasant but unable to help. They forwarded my call to customer service. The agent this time was much more helpful and friendly. He assured me the package should arrive on Thursday. Great. Yesterday, (Thursday) it arrived in Londonderry NH, a couple towns away, at 5:21 AM. It then was scanned as an "Arrived at FedEx location, Londonderry" at 7:48, then noted that the hold at location was accepted and then again arrived at the Londonderry location, according to their tracking info. It now said the delivery was scheduled for the same day. Phew. Throughout the day, I checked on it, but it never changed from "Arrived at Londonderry, NH". So, I called around 2:00 PM and was told it would be delivered that day and just hadn't updated. Around 6:00, on my way home, I stopped by the FedEx office location. The package tracking didn't show any movement, so I was hoping it was just a glitch. The first rep didn't show any info on my package. He was friendly and professional, just couldn't help. Another member (maybe a manager) called me over and tracked the package again. He essentially said the same but that I might be able to call 1800 GoFedEx and ask to pick it up at the Londonderry Facility. Ok. Great. I'll do that. In the parking lot, I called the customer service line again. I was informed the package will come tomorrow (Friday, 12/24). I asked if I could just pick it up since it seems to keep getting delayed and is an important present for my wife. "No, that isn't allowed at that facility". Ok. Great. This morning, the package shows "Delayed" instead of "scheduled delivery". If this package isn't available today and I can't gift it to my wife for Christmas, I'm going to lose it. There's absolutely no reason for any of this. It should have arrived the day THEY scheduled it for, but hey, mistakes happen. But to sit at a facility all day on the day it's supposed to get delivered, only 15 minutes from it's destination, and never move? And to not allow customers to pick it up, when you clearly can't trust their drivers? Unreal. Unsatisfied doesn't begin to describe my feelings right now.

FedEx is a delivery service. What you're looking for is a moving company. There are a number of great local moving companies with awesome reviews listed right here on google.
