We had a great time at the pond! It's a nice clean space for the whole family. It definitely can get crowded but they have lots of places to park your towel and enjoy the view. Walking paths, bathroom's, playground, and of course the pond. We will definitely come back.

Nice relaxing place. Very well maintained. Restrooms were close to beach and clean.

Best park ever. Get the state park pass and go for free all summer. The water is warm enough to just float in and the crowds are never an issue. On the weekends they usually have a food truck. I've been coming here since I was a kid and now I bring my kids here.

The park would be beautiful any time of the year but it was particularly nice with the Fall colors! We were there midday and midweek on the 12th of October and the place was largely deserted. Sweet!

Dogs were not allowed on the beach when I visited the park on October 12th, 2021. LuckyGary
In the main park area there are 2 miles of trails that go along close to the pond for a bit and also follow an old railroad straight through the middle. Across the road there are about 4 miles of trails that wind about through the woods. Both sets of trails have basically no elevation change but do have pretty scenery. There is no camping area at Range Pond State Park.
Dogs are allowed anywhere except on the beach and must be kept on leash at all times.
It's a year round park so does not close, fee's are collected either by booth attendant or red can beyond the booth
Maine residents 65 and older: free; Children 5 - 11 years old: $1.00; Children under 5 are free. ... Except as specially noted below the fee schedules, State Park Range Pond Adult Maine Resident$6.00 Adult Non Resident$8.00 Senior Non Resident$2.00
I don't think so. $6 for adults $3 for kids over 5yrs, under 5yrs is free. Park is open until 8pm.
Yes..Middle Range has Cindy's Dockside, part of Poland Spring Inn we ate there 4 times. Great food and drinks, and view
Yes you can use park passes year round even on holidays... as long as it is this year's pass lol
I dont think they allow RV camping there, but there is one nearby
The large bath house is not open, but there are out houses available and the gates are open on weekends.
Unfortunately I do not know that answer. I only go to the lake part for the day. I have not camped there. It might be on their website.
