Staff did everything to make us feel welcome. The place is beautiful with everything you need for a wonderful stay. It was hard to leave our Neverland. The food was fantastic! Hard to express our appreciation for giving us a memorable family wedding experience!

Was at the lodge for a wedding and it was beautiful! The grounds are extremely well kept, the cabins are absolutely beautiful and luxurious and the food was amazing! Would definitely recommend. My only suggestion is to have a soda machine or something available on site. The giftshop has snacks, but nothing to drink.

Tranquil escape from reality! Delicious food (and plentiful lobsters!), picturesque sunsets, and an extremely attentive staff combine for an ideal late summer getaway. Features an outdoor gym, tennis courts, kayaking / swimming in the lake, and more! Or just stroll around and enjoy the pristine Maine air

Great experience! Spent three days at Migis and had time to do a lot of fun things! Kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, hiking, and taking a motorboat tour around the lake. Also took a wonderful yoga class outside. On the last night, we brought some sparklers to light by the lake. Oh and the food was absolutely amazing, especially for a resort! There were four course meals in the dining room, and cookouts were very fun as well. Almost every food was excellent. Highly recommend the blue crisp with vanilla ice cream if you have the chance to try it. The staff was friendly and they always made sure we were happy. We stayed at the Moonrise cottage which was very nice and cozy, with a nice view of the trees and lake in the background. Next time I visit, I’ll try out the water skiing, and maybe a massage!

Not too far. Some cabins have own parking.

What is the general tipping policy for meals? Are all tips included, if not, what is the general expectation for breakfast, lunch and dinner?

Michael J. Bambuch | Oct 23, 2021

Their official statement is that there is no official tipping policy. Generally you have the same wait staff during your entire stay so if you felt they did an appropriate job you can leave an envelope for them at the end of your trip. We did one for the wait staff and one for the cleaning crew. The tipping amount is up to you.
