Extremely bad experience with lady employee. Unwilling to help me or sell me gasoline at the register. After I told her the pump did not recognize my card credit she told she couldn't do anything. Told me to go back out and read and answers the questions, enter the zip code to make the pump work. I told her again the pump was not working. She was insulting as she made me feel I couldn't read nor operate a pump. I realized she was unwilling to listen to me not try to sell me gas at the register so I said nothing and left instead. I could have tried to help her somehow but I have no time for people like this. At challenging times as we see today, some people don't understand that customers will choose where they will do business. I chose to go to this business and will not return. I tell my business partners, if you don't know what you are doing get help, if you don't get help then get out of the business because someone else is ready to put you out.

I was just at this Valero. There was a very sweet older woman in line ahead of me. She tried paying at the pump but was unable to see the screen. The young man behind the counter apologized & offered to help her pay there. Unfortunately, the transaction had already been started & he couldn't help on his end. Without a second thought, Allen (the cashier), came around the counter, took the woman gently by the arm & led her to her car. He then helped her complete her transaction. He made sure she was happy before coming in, smile on face, to quickly help his other customers. Very seldom do we see young men such as this anymore. Thank you Allen. You made today more beautiful!

Locally owned, which is always a plus in my book, but they really need to invest some money in general maintenance of their gas pumps and window cleaning stations. Seems to never have squeegees, paper towels or water in those stations.
