Small hike/walk to get to the lighthouse, and a little underwhelming. However, definitely worth making the trip to say you’ve been.

What a wonderful little find, absolutely beautiful even on a winter day. The woods you hike to get to squirrel point are very interesting. Lots of cedar trees, rock formations, and just interesting big old trees. It was really nice to have micro spikes for the icy sections. The light house itself is quite beautiful and the views are breathtaking

Small unmarked parking area down a dirt road. Parking is enough for maybe 6-7 cars if everyone parks decently. It’s about a 20 minute or so hike to the lighthouse from the parking area. The trail is well marked in the beginning, following the white marks on the trees. As you get closer to the lighthouse the trail markings are very hard to spot. Follow the foot trails to the end

The walk in was unexpected but very enjoyable. Lighthouse is quaint. If you have a good camera, instead of walking go over to the Phippsburg Congregational Church area and you can click a great photo from the water side

There are two trails at Squirrel Point, and many more in the surrounding area. Camping is not allowed at Squirrel Point as far as I know, however.
I have no money to contribute but I have raised funds for charities for years
