THIS WORLD GETS COLD AND PEOPLE GET MEAN TO IT BUT MILESTONE IS RUN TO A PLOT OF COMPASSION AND A NEED TO DIALOGUE NOT IN EASY TERMS OF HATE BUT THE TERMS OF HOPE SO OFTEN HARD TO EXPRESS.

Great place to go if you need to get out of trouble! Hang in there, I'm rooting for you! Hopefully I'll be seeing you around the halls! You got this, remember that!

Great place to catch a 10am 12 step call meeting. They offer a great detox center as well if your looking to detox from drugs and or alcohol and get into the huge recovery community in the Portland, Maine area

I applaud the staff for the stellar work they do. Heart and soul goes into each and every person that they reach. During the cold they go out and find people that need a place to stay warm and may need help with an addiction.

If there is a family member who doesn't have insurance and desperately needs help where do they go?

Hi there, I am sorry that you have not received a reply sooner. Milestone Recovery will admit people to their detoxification unit who do not have insurance.

My mother figure is a recovering alcoholic, and recently had a slip...she can't stop drinking even though she can't stop vomiting...she has been a patient in the past, and an employee..can you still help her?

Anyone who has a addiction no matter what has rights

what is the cost out of pocket and how long is the program?

Sharon Procino | Aug 20, 2018

The cost depends on different factors such as insurance, income, etc. They will not deny anybody based on lack of insurance or inability to pay up front. I encourage you to call. The detox is anywhere from three to seven days, depending on the medication needed.

They no longer do face to face inquiries. You have to call and answer questions about an addiction, they set up an appointment. You take a covid test there. If a negative test, you are brought to detox. It's a 3 to 7 day program. It's free for anyone who's a Maine resident.
