I took my family visiting from California on the Lucky Catch lobstering boat, and it was a great way to see the coast as well as have hands on experience of lobstering basics. The cruise was very informative about the area, and I learned a lot despite being local. Our deckhands Liam and Nora were fun and engaging. I highly recommend this activity, and plan to do it again soon with my grandchildren.

This was the kids favorite thing on the whole trip to Maine. The activity took a little over 90 min. It had Light educational facts and was interactive. You are on a boat touching the bait, crabs, lobster, and cages. We purchased the lobster that was caught for 10 bucks and the place next door cooked them up for 12.99 and it came with some sides (see images). So a lobster for 23.99. The kids were happy so that's what mattered. The staff was friendly.

Friendly staff, very hands on experience, informative but also enjoyable, you can buy lobster at the end for a very good deal! Tour wasn’t too long which was ideal because we went out of season! Highly recommend to dress warmly

What a fun time! Learned so much about lobsters and the lobster industry while helping the crew. Crew was super knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. I think my husband and I had just as much fun as the couples with kids. It was an overall great group experience for a great price while not feeling overly touristy. Best part? Buying lobster on board to have next door restaurant cook them up for us! Highly recommend.

Questions & Answers

Hello does price of tour include your catch or is the lobster extra? Will be visiting in June 2020. This sounds fun.

Lobster is extra. They don't sell you the catch. Most likely there are lobsters already in the tank for sales.

I made a deal with them at the end. Bought 14 at once. Don't remember the price but it was a sweet deal. Nice people.
