McDonald's served us well during the Pandemic. Now, the prices are beyond astronomical. It's crazy. I can go to Cracker Barrel and get a real MEAL for the cost of a Filet O' Fish medium meal. It was almost $11 and it was inedible. Ditto the chicken McUGHets last time. Dirty broken packets of sauces were included. Gross. DONE DONE DONE. The food is bad. Always bad. Even the tea tastes bad, like cleaner is in it. It's just terrible. Something is just broken there (and not just the ice cream machine). The vibe is off. I feel bad for the workers. But I'm done with old food being thrown into a bag, and by the way, PUT IN THE NAPKINS AND THE STRAW once in awhile for Pete's sake.

This McDonald's is the absolute fastest and the most accurate with orders that I've ever seen. They're doing something right there. Other fast food places need to take Notes.

After eating at some very good restaurants during our trip, it was a pleasant treat of normalcy. However, I noticed there was not a big difference between the cost of McDonald's (fast food in general) and a traditional restaurant. Had to trade my fries with SocMonkey as he ordered the kids meal.

Only 1 line was open for drive thru so I decided to do a quick mobile order for 3 drinks and 1 order of french fries. Waited 20 minutes. Ridiculous. All cars in the drive thru were serviced and then some. Should've just waited in line.

Their are many places that have different hours right because of covid regulations passed
Acdc you are on a border town, if the people at Taco bell speak Spanish, try a Chinese restaurant, if you don't like ethnic diversity go to Texas, you will fit in better. I guess. Or better yet Jacksonville, Florida where you can hate the blacks. I lived there and being a 6'4" Half Mexican and half Spanish, my first language is English. So don't judge a book by the cover. Go to McDonald's on Hickory Dr. The universal language is a smile. Also it's a greyhound bus lay over so you might have gotten an unexpected passer by crowd.
The remodel should be done now. But the Valley Drive and Avenida De Mesilla construction still goes on. I think till the Spring of 2020.
