We love Olive Garden! It's actually our first choice when deciding to eat out. We are never disappointed. Our take-out experiences have not been so good. Twice now, we've ordered take-out, from two different locations, months apart, and had the same bad experience. It wasn't the service, the service was great as always. The problem was the quality of the food. All of our meals were dinner-size. The salads had wilted lettuce and the tomatoes were mushy. I had a very dry Eggplant Parm with a tiny portion of spaghetti and almost no sauce at all. There was nothing to dip my bread stick in. When my daughter opened her Chicken Alfredo, the sauce had already separated. My granddaughter had Cheese Ravioli with Alfredo Sauce. She had no complaints. I thought that you should know these issues so they may be improved upon. Maybe a new type of take-out container more suited to Italian food or Alfredo Sauce on the side. Also, the salads should be made fresh with every order, not premade.

We drive over an hour consistently to eat at the Augusta Maine location. Service is usually hit or miss but the food is so good we deal. This Saturday really took the cake for disappointment. We waited forever for our table just to be sat and told there was no silverware and we were only getting the one set of silverware we were sat with.. there was two us. When the server came to take our order, we still hadn’t gotten our drinks yet. We told her we were hesitant to order because we were told there was no silverware and didn’t want to eat soup with our hands. She assured us she’d find silverware. Our apps and meals come out all at once, still no drinks or silverware. Couldn’t eat our food with out the silverware but ate what we could sharing a fork which is insane to me. Almost done with our food and still no drinks! So all in all, ate with our hands and sharing a fork. Had nothing to drink which after complaining enough they took them off the bill. Unfortunately they didn’t take off the food we weren’t able to eat because we didn’t have utensils. Asked for the manager and she never came to the table. So disappointed because this is my favorite place to go eat.

Great family friendly restaurant. Very good food. Excellent service at a reasonable price. Our server had perfect timing. Never had to wait. Well worth a visit.
