Found tons of great work clothes and a couple "banned books" I've been trying to get my hands on. Great prices and friendly staff too!

I love to read books, they have lots of them, nice to go in and find a couple of gems.

Purchased 4 athlete's shirts. Very nice and in very good shape. Also one of the calf length sweater and spandex pants. Staff very efficient and thoughtful. Were quite a few customers in store.

Who is doing the pricing on the furniture and anything considered vintage??? They are seriously way over pricing and don't want to actually sell these items. I thought St. Vincent de Paul was created to help families. If any donated clothing has a name brand or is remotely considered "vintage" it's grossly overpriced. You are better off shopping at Ross or TJ MAXX, if shopping for name brand. I've never been to a thrift shop where they charge $900 for a stained couch and $150 for chairs you couldn't give away. It's sad what has happened to this place.

Because of covid
When covid is gone.
Sometimes items get priced higher than they ought be, considering its all 2nd hand and meant to help the less fortunate...but it does happen. I will say though that I think they are far more reasonable and fair than Goodwill ever has been. I have worked for them both and St. Vinnies has far greater interest in helping the community from what I've seen.
It depends on where you are located. I'm not sure if their policy is changed during Covid. I would just call the nearest one and see if they have that offer.
Yes but you go through Catholic community services I think that's still on G street at 10th in Springfield but I don't know about what days or hours they're open sorry
They take food box donations in cash but do not give out boxes at that location. The st vincent de paul website has more information.
