I used to work at this location and the quality of the store has gone down so much. It used to be a wonderful, reliable Pet store but Be warned and do not shop here anymore! They hire anyone so PLEASE don’t take any advice from these guys as they always just “wing it”. If you’re having issues with your pet PLEASE go see the vet! Assistant Manager doesn’t care about the care of animals whatsoever. The other day I found a laundry basket with rope tied to the top of it and inside was a poor injured baby bunny in the rain. I went inside to talk to him (his name is Greg) and I was bewildered by how unsympathetic this man was. You manage a PET store but can’t even show proper care for these poor animals. He said that he was gonna have to call wildlife, then shrugged. Didn’t even bother to go outside to check on it. Just proceeded to walk to the back of the store. When I worked there (with another manager) we would always make sure that the animals left outside were properly handled and not left outside in the rain. I had to take care of it and it turns out that the bunny had been hit by a car. Thanks for all your help pet supermarket!

I went here to check out their tropical fish section. I have never seen a worst kept fish display. I saw a poor platty with pop-eye. I saw countless fish with their fins bit to heck because for some reason this store puts their fancy finned fish in the same tank as fin nipping fish. Algae was crazy in EVERY display tank. They had one of their medium displays with 5 individual male Bettas. 5 males in the same medium tank! Their fins were ripped and 2 of them looked like they were ballooning. I wouldn't be shocked if I came back tomorrow to see the poor things pine coning. This is 100% animal abuse. Clean your tanks. Properly stock them. Treat the sick fish or at least quarantine them so you're not making all of them suffer!

Knowledgeable staff and healthy fish. Good selection of pet products too for varies pets. You can easily shop here for all your household pet needs. *6/29 edit (originally 5 star review)* This location seems to be going downhill more and more each time I come when it comes to staff. As I write this I am STILL waiting for my crickets I purchased, as it has been quite awhile since she started bagging. I've had to sit and watch while she stops mid bagging to talk to her friends that kept coming back multiple times..one of the managers ended up taking over for her on the register since business was nonstop after thah point. This is the worst customer service I've experienced here, and the longest its ever taken to get crickets. Some of the staff doesn't look very hygienic either which can be a bit off putting when wanting to ask for assistance for anything in here. (It's been 12 minutes since I started this and we JUST NOW finally got all our crickets and got to leave, and we had been waiting for her to finish bagging around 5 to 10 minutes prior to the 12 minute wait) I'm not one to normally call out by name but our cashier Juliette was not attentive at all. Even a few other times in the past when the worker chose to talk to with friends or coworkers it has NEVER taken OVER 10 minutes to get crickets (even for a large amount). Everytime she talked to the girls who kept.coming up to her she would stop bagging crickets increasing our wait time. She was also really quiet and barely spoke to us during checkout which made the checkout process longer than it needed to be.

Mark was very knowledgeable about bearded dragons. He helped us get everything we needed to get started. My son came home with a new buddy! I almost brought the Tarantula home! Next time...

I'm not Really sure but I don't think so
Ty we went. We didn't have to bring anything. Shampoo and towels were available. Along with dog treats. We like it here cause it's higher and deeper
Sometimes yes. I didn't notice this last time I went, but on the same day I went to the North Port location and they had a variety of frogs, lizards, and tarantulas.
I dont think so
They definitely have plenty of fish items
I don't think they do any type of grooming at the location you are talking about.
I don't know...give them a call.
I take my dog to a private vet. Only buy food and dog outfits there
Thanks for the info.
bad
Not that I have seen. They do offer a points system for dollars spent. They used to have a card. But do it by phone number now.
