My dog is a regular patient here. We had an emergency poison situation. No one would answer the phone. We rushed over. At our arrival, the receptionist said they were understaffed and could not help. That was very disappointing. The vet could have given us the animal poisoning hotline, induced vomiting, done SOMETHING to treat this life threatening and time sensitive condition. They gave us an emergency vet to call, and we rushed over there. We lost so much time when it was critical.

They did a great job taking care of my dogs. My dog can be easily scared and she never showed signs of fear when coming here. I would rate this a 4.5 and not the full 5 because she has (to this day) a plastic stitch stuck inside her which I'm not sure is an issue but I did not want to revisit knowing how much they can charge /: Lots of high prices in medications (that you can find over the counter) too. But that's really it (:

I am a disabled veteran with an 8year old service dog. I have been to many Banfield Pet Hospitals in different states. This is by far the best ever. The entire staff and Doctor are amazing, kind, patient knowledgeable, extremely gentle with all the clients pets. My Service Dog came out happy and calm. I will never go to another Banfield Pet Hospital in my area. I highly recommend this Banfield Pet Hospital to everyone for their Pets.

Vet prescribed Hills l/d food for my dog’s elevated enzymes. My dog is now sick and upon online research into this brand, I come to find out that a lot of dogs, showing the same symptoms died back in Jan 2019 from contaminated prescription food from this brand. Our dogs are our children for most pet owners. Having your dog sick and taking it to the vet where they want to separate you is not a pleasant experience. Having to deal with a Vet assistant that seems to ignore the clear message that I must always be in the presence of my dog during our visits is frustrating. I don’t want to have to be hustled into letting my dog to the back section by himself. I don’t understand why a simple, no thank you and Ill wait for a room is not a clear message for some people. I had to experienced this with a vet assistant today and I was furious at the way she treated me with the constant unnecessary comments about how she preferred taking the dog to the back instead of doing the procedure in the room with me. She even said that she needed to get the least used room because my dog was going to leave the room stinky. I do not care and she must learn to listen, this is not a used car sales lot where you must get at least 3 NOs before giving up. Anyway, I do have to thank Jennifer for saving the day and making everything ok for me without the rudeness.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?

Banfield Pet Hospital | Aug 18, 2020

Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
