Been going to Banfield in Waterford Lakes since my Cappuccino was a baby. He's 11yrs old and also bring my other 3 furbabies, Mocha, Frappe and Cocoa as well. Juan, Alexa, and all of front office and back office staff are caring and wonderful. Dr. Roman is absolutely amazing to all my furbabies. Most recent have been taking my Cappuccino to his care and has literally taken him under his wing. My Cappuccino has been having a series of medical issues and with his care and knowledge, after a few blood work, xray and scans, not only has he diagnosed but his consideration and compassion goes beyond words. For that we are forever grateful to him and the WL Banfield staff as their care to our furbabies means the world to us! Thank you always Dr. Roman for leading a great staff and for all you do.

When will the pet owners be allowed to walk in to the exam rooms again? I feel the excuse of the pandemic is no longer valid since the employees are no longer using masks. I want to stay with my dog while been examined. I remember when the vets used to ask for your permission to take the pet to the back. I don’t appreciate having conversations about my dog’s behavior in front of others. The place could also be cleaner. The quality of offered services used to be a lot better. I do appreciate the advise given by the nurse to schedule vaccines earlier during the day in case my dog has an allergic reaction, to take her back before closing hours (the only reason for 2 stars). I am referring to Banfield at Waterford Lakes, Orlando FL.

I take my dog to the vet regularly, and go to pick up my dogs medicine regularly. The staff at this Banfield are very understanding and polite. The monthly payment is rather hefty, but with everything that is offered along side that payment it is well worth it. Just having the security to know that if your animal was to get sick, you can make an appointment is well worth the charge. This Banfield really takes good care of your animals. I 100% recommend putting your animals on a plan. Have a great day!

Paid for the well dog program precovid and by 6 mos later still couldn’t get my dog completely vaccinated. Paid for 3 other pets as well and it was the same issue. Brought one cat in after having a litter which should have been a free check up and they charged $120 for nothing. They took the cat and her 3 kittens to the back where they took pictures for their files to identify them as the correct cat on the well check program. They brought them back up to me supposedly examined. When I asked about the size of the females uterus and breast after giving birth they never had checked it. I had to literally walk into a examine you and request the vet to check the areas of concern. Then they told me the female can’t get pregnant while she was breast feeding this litter. GUESS WHAT??? She got pregnant a couple weeks later. This place is horrible and I’ve been to 3 different locations. Not very knowledgeable if your pet has real health issues

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?

Banfield Pet Hospital | Aug 19, 2020

Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).

As far as I've known, they don't. You can call to verify. They'd probably say OCAS or an adoption organization

It's usually been available in store at PetSmart at the registers or maybe Banfield counter. You can call the store though to ask.
