Covered table, grill and fire pit at each spot with lots of room between sites. My most favorite part is the herd of cows herded to pasture by ranchers on horseback! There is no cell signal but there is further down the hill toward Utah.

Gorgeous campground. Newer facilities. We camped up the hill, first spot on the left. Few sites.

Such a great place! Very nice, right off hwy50 but not loud or busy, spots have a shade structure and a table and a grill, but no fires allowed at this time (Sept 2020). Once spots were taken people just found a spot to park for the night. Nice little pond in the center of the ring. No cell service for ATT or Verizon.

Perfect spot to camp if you are visiting Great Basin National Park. The location is perfect and this BLM site is picturesque. You're surrounded by mountains and they have a fishing pond with a nice dock for some leisure fun.

Questions & Answers

I'll be traveling with my horses. Would it be safe to leave them unattended in the corral to go see the caves at Great Basin?

We stayed there for one night in May before doing the cave tour. While it IS incredibly beautiful, it's also RIGHT ON Hwy 50, and therefore would be VERY EASY for someone to steal your horses and quickly whisk them away! Maybe see if there's somewhere in Baker to board them for the day? Good Luck! 🐴
