I like that they have women working the counter and yard. To many lumber yards only hire men.

I designed my own deck. After visiting multiple lumberyards and calling a few other companies (including the West Linn Parr location), I gave in and tried the Rockwood location. Riley is the guy who got my necessary materials all put together in one day. With all the excuses we hear right now about supply chain issues, being understaffed, overworked, etc., Riley had none of the above and was very helpful. I’d recommend Rockwood Parr Lumber, but especially work with Riley.

Called for prices and the guy just went, ugh what is it, so I told him exactly what I needed a price on and kept saying prices like a machine and when I needed clarification, because he was going too fast he said ugh. Again. Concluding the call he asked anything else, I said "no thank", then hung up on me when I said "you, have a good day". If he doesn't want to work on the weekend he should just tell management and not take it out on customers.

They are always very helpful! I had a delivery of Hardie boards delivered for my garage project and the delivery person, Dylan helped me carry them to my garage. I was his last delivery and he said he had time. It was way above and beyond! I was expecting to spend the better part of the evening getting them moved from my driveway to my back yard. Thank you!
