Our windshield had the displeasure of meeting a shanked golf ball while traveling north on NW Springhill Dr last Saturday. The proshop associate kindly tried to track down the talent, but of course no one would fess up. A polite phone call with the comptroller revealed the club is not liable either. No real surprise. While I understand the legal position, it’s unfortunate that the course can’t simply put up a simple driving range-like net or like barrier. I hate to imagine what would have happened to me and my family had that ball punched through the glass. Seems like a significant safety hazard to us.

The place is nice, sterile, no life, just what you'd expect. There was food available down stairs, literally from a hole in the wall. The food was warm but a vending machine has more selection than their menu. There was one thing that did stand out in my weekend there and that was the unique placement of 6 12"x12" windows , one over each urinal at eye level and looking out over the golf course.
