My five stars actually go to the "third party". Though I've never received a delivery notification after placing my order in the store, the guys arrived as scheduled, 8 days later, within the scheduled time frame. Tom and his partner were very friendly and worked carefully installing my new washer, dryer and a chest freezer. I am a happy customer now. Will be ordering from Lowes with confidence in the near future.

Lowe's either need to hire more people or train the ones they have..waited 30 minutes for a sale person only to find out they knew nothing about the item I was interested in. All I got for my wait was a business card and told to call tomorrow

Great store. Huge selection. But got jacked up by the Manager while holding up a garbage can so the Cashier could scan it. Like I'm going to carry a 32 gal can loaded with loot out of the store directly in front of about 8 Sales Associates? No good deed goes unpunished I guess? If I go back, I'll make 'em work for it.

This is the only big box store near Cumberland within an hour, so I am forced to use this place often, since it's simply not worth driving an hour to another store. The people who work here are nice enough, but all are incompetent to varying degrees. This is my experience over the last few weeks (out of over a year of bad service): Recently I was told dishwashers are standard sizes and have been for decades, so I didn't have to take special care when buying one for my house built in 1966. Dishwashers are not standard sizes. My kitchen counter top did not have sufficient clearance for the dishwasher by about a half an inch. The installer could not install it. All this after a day or two of half a dozen phone calls trying to figure out when it will be delivered and when it will be installed. Lowe's outsources both those services and doesn't coordinate between the two, so it was a guessing game with everyone I spoke with. I had to do minor renovations to the countertop and kitchen to get it to install and did it myself. After these renos I opened the dishwasher packaging to install the dishwasher I noticed the dishwasher had clearly been dropped for a significant height. One of the top rear corners of the machine was pushed in 4-5 inches, deforming the entire. It leaked water and did not function properly. They found a replacement within a week. I installed the new one. And it doesn't work properly. I keep getting the i20 code. Also, I bought a washer and dryer and range to be delivered last Thursday afternoon. I got a call Thursday morning saying they couldn't find the dryer, do I still want the washer and range delivered Thursday. No. Wait till all appliances can be delivered. Ok, we can deliver all three on Wednesday. Thursday night I get a call saying the appliances will be delivered Friday, so I call to make sure this isn't a screw up. Naturally, everyone in the delivery service had gone home for the day. I called Friday morning to explain the situation and no one knew if the appliances would be delivered on Friday or the following Wednesday. Finally about an hour later I was told the appliances would be delivered Wednesday. Hopefully that will go okay. This weekend I bought a Craftsman cordless drill. The battery doesn't work, so I get to take it back to the store to see if they have one that works. It seems they only have broken things at this store and can't figure out basic scheduling. I think from now on I will only go there for basic supplies that they have in stock. All power tools and appliances I will try to find alternatives. They are just too awful to effectively be service and product providers for anything more complicated than a screwdriver.
