A horrible, cruel, and humiliating experience... Waiting in line for 45 mins in 90 degree weather was enough on it's own, but that is something easily overlooked with a little empathy and kindness -- both of which the security guards lack. I felt like a meek kid in grade school again, talked down to, spoken over, dehumanized, and bullied. They are bullies... Never in my life have i seen such poor authoritive examples; on a constant hunt for any excuse to exercise their power. I was consistently disrespected and left feeling broken and defeated. Everyone that works there is rude. "You can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar"

Horrible. HORRIBLE! I tried to call 3 times this morning. I believe at this point the system HAS to be deliberately setup to frustrate you until you give up. Each time I call, after going thru the phone options, I am put on hold listening to muzak. The automated "we appreciate your patience" message plays 3 or 4 times and then it rings and you end up with a blank line that eventually disconnects you! This is insane. THIS is what our tax dollars are going to.

Speedy and seamless! Parking available right outside the door, security and staff helpful, quick and kind. In and out in 10 minutes.

If you have an official copy of your birth certificate and another form of ID, I think you can.
Try the FCC, and the Attorney generl.
It is a scam/phishing call. You should contact the Office of the Inspector General and report it. If you call the SSA 800 number, there is a recorded message about this with instructions.
Yes you can if it's not for card replacement if you get the number directly to office you want to go

The Social Security Administration requires that you visit one of their offices in person and show proof of identity in order to receive a new or replacement card. This is to help protect you from identity theft.
