Easy access, nice staff, rigid rules. They don't refill scripts, which would make sense to me, save for extenuating circumstances. Like you recently moved, have not established a local primary, suffered a movement disorder and acute withdrawal from medication could be a death sentence. All during a public health crisis in an active fifth wave. Those are extenuating circumstances. "Call your psych". Neurologist/internist would be correct. I've not a psychologist to call, nor need of one. But good at what they do. It's the won't do, that might kill you.

The entire Samaritan system is an abusive nightmare filled with gatekeepers and tone police. Make sure to not have even an half a frown on your face or let alone get upset for being chronically neglected and ignored they will tell you that YOU are the problem and not their abusive and neglectful providers and administration. They will deny you service and call you aggressive for trying to get care. Hard avoid. Many complaints and grievances filed and at least one person written up. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Avoid most of the doctors there too, bottom of the barrel and bullies. After leaving reviews on Samaritan's Facebook pages they banned me. They banned me from every single one of their Facebook pages and turned off reviews. They don't want you to know the truth. Avoid at all costs.

Please don't waist your time with Samaritan Coastal Clinic. Was told I could get a shingles vaccine as a walk-in patient. Didn't get the vaccine because I hadn't seen a doctor there before. Got checked in, filled out the paper work and waited just to be denied the vaccine. Total waist of time.

This is the worst clinic I have ever been to. We never seen a doctor, never even went inside the clinic. My medical records states I seen Jennifer Guthri NP for a cough and sore throat. My Son says for a sore throat, cough, and Fever. Again never seen anyone. Went to get a COVID vaccine for my 12 year old. Since he had a mild runny nose, she suggested to test him for COVID. Since we were going on a trip I said yeah lets do both vaccinate him and test him for COVID. She said we will test him, then once the results get back, we will vaccinate him. I said lets test me too as I am traveling out of country. All this was done at the front door. NO cough, NO sore throat, NO FEVER. We got in my car and drove around the back and was tested. Never seen any NP. Again no symptoms. When I look at my chart it states that we both had a visit and had symptoms. When I called and explained the situation, asked them to correct my chart as it's misleading and fraudulent medical coding and reporting. They said they the nurse would amendment it within 48 hours. I waited 5 days. When I checked it to give to my employer, all the nurse did was added I was Coronavirus monitoring. This has already been difficult time, I feel this clinic is dishonest and misrepresents their patience's to get kick backs and more money from insurance companies. I will never suggest this place to anyone. Being on the coast I would rather drive hours to be seen by a more professional and honest clinic then to deal with Samaritan Coastal Clinic. This was a very unpleasant interaction.
