Recently moved to area. Needed a new hair stylist. Decided to check this place out. Firstly, I called about a consult. They got me in that day. The lady understood completely what I needed and wanted and was honest about the service and pricing. However she was leaving to go on vaca. My hair was a mess and I didn’t want to wait any longer so I asked if anyone else there could maybe be available sooner. She had no problem recommending someone else. There was no competition and they look out for each other. I was able to get back in within just a few days. The salon itself is adorable and the layout is so nice. It smells so good when you walk in. It’s super clean. The front desk all the way to the actual stylist are all so super nice and they are legit upfront on pricing and from other places I’ve been definitely more affordable. I ended up with Bre and she did an amazing job. Like magic. She was a super nice girl too and I’m chatty and she was a good conversationalist too. I would recommend this salon for sure.

I had a massage at Susan’s last week. I went to Eric for a deep tissue massage and it was PHENOMENAL. He is very knowledgeable, very intuitive and approaches the massage from a medical POV. It was the best sports/deep massage I’ve ever had. I have upper back pain, hip arthritis and leg issues from running/yoga. He identified every single knot and fixed them. HIGHLY recommend.

Susan's Salon is a homey, multi-service salon in Alexandria. It is consistently kept clean and always looks organized. Employees contribute to a warm and welcoming environment. I went in for a mani & pedi with Genese. She knows how to pamper and glam a girl up! She listens to my requests, takes her time, and I always end up loving the look of my nails. Pictures of shellac nails she's done for me from previous visits attached. I love having the salon in our community! I absolutely recommend their services to anyone preparing for a special event or just to treat yourself.
