Elliot was a super good attorney that helped me with my issue and is just an all around great person/attorney. I definitely recommend using Legal Aid when needed. It is a little difficult in the beginning, but once they take your case, your in good hands. Especially if you get Elliot.

Girl working at front office is very unfriendly and acts kinda snotty with each question. She was also on a personal call with someone and laughing, too bad she can't smile when talking to people that come in.

The lawyer, cyndie Haines, only goes by her opinon of you and doesn't a actually care about the person she's supposed to represent. She is unethical and is incompetent. She claimed that since this was a free service she only had to do the bare minimum. I would try to look for a different lawyer if you could. They made me feel that since I can't afford another lawyer I should put up with the incompetence and bare minimum.

No help at all. Been twice and they couldn't help at all. They say landlord/tenant help but after being there for 2 hours, I was told that they couldn't help with our situation with our landlord. Not sure what they are being paid to do. My husband watched a young lady and her baby leave in tears because they were turned away.. I only gave one star because I had to..

Walk in between 12:45 and 3 on Monday Wednesday and Friday. But just going to the DMV and paying the 80 something dollars should be enough unless you have to carry an SR22
Call Victim Services at the Lane County courthouse. File a restraining order (free) & have it served to him. If he breaks it (harassing you in any form) he can be arrested. Save all proof of what he’s been doing to support your complaint. No need to show that proof unless he disputes your claim or breaks the r.o., then you’ll show it in court. Victim Services are genuinely helpful & NOT intimidating. Good luck.
What can your income be to get legal aid
Go to Lane County courthouse & ask information (upstairs, right after going thru security) and ask them how & where to get an eviction notice. Not sure if the notice costs anything. Make sure you serve it correctly (delivery method & giving him correct # of days to vacate, etc) or else it’ll be invalid.
