The worst website I have EVER tried to navigate. What a complete joke!

Lane County Circuit Court is awful. I recently submitted a Name Change form back in mid March, and when I came to pick up certified copies my name was illegible, despite submitting it online. I was told that it was the way I submitted it that caused the error, but I suspect it's their outdated printer, as I literally typed it on a desktop computer. They had me handwrite a letter to the judge asking for a correction, and I waited in line three times overall during that visit (my second) to the courthouse. About a week later they called me and said they'd mail me new copies with the correction, great. But it's now been twenty days and nothing in the mail. After calling them to follow up (their phone rang for 20 minutes and ended up disconnecting me) I went down there to pick up certified copies. The clerk was really rude, and told me it was "returned mail". How hard is it to just say "sorry about that"? That's all it takes sometimes to make a situation right, but instead I ended up leaving more frustrated even after finally receiving certified copies that I applied for a month and a half ago. I wish we funded government offices with enough staff so that normal processes like this aren't such a headache that take months to resolve, and also that there was some standard for customer service at government offices as we are paying for these staff with our tax dollars!

My case was dismissed because no attorney would represent me unless I had $5,000 and judge wouldn't grant extension for pro se filing: my case was NEVER looked into by ANY legal group in Oregon & as result, I took it to Amnesty International & World Economic Forum who agreed: 'It's Safer & Cheaper to keep our Elderly home' & nursing homes are Killing people (in Europe, USA is still Asleep on this) Oregon Judge & courts are helping funnel our poor in equity owned nursing homes which is a Win for Central Banks who hold pension obligations.

The court clerk Christine is extremely rude and unprofessional. How she is still employed is beyond my understanding. I understand that this job is probably not easy, however giving rude answers and being disrespectful is not the way to work. There is a difference between telling someone something and being rude and she most definitely is rude. This is not the first time I had the pleasure of interacting with this individual so my review is not based off of one encounter. Although you probably have some questionable people come in to file papers that doesn't mean you have to be so unprofessional. I csn not emphasize enough on giving her some training on how to be professional without an attitude and rudeness. If she doesn't want the job anymore ill be happy to take it and leave my job.

How can I get a restraining order on my ex boyfriend . I have no transportation do to being disabled and due to being quarantined for covid. He threatens my life constantly. He has also kicked me to the streets with nothing.and I am the only one paying where we have been living in a big huge shop while basically controls to the point that I'm not allowed to leave or do anything like talk to friends or anyone. It depends on the type of hearing. Some will be in person, some will be on the phone, and some will be video. Contact the appropriate department (civil, family court, probate, etc) to find out more. Their phone system doesn't work real well, but you should eventually get through to someone and they'll transfer you to where you need to be.
Go down stairs to law library
Show up on the date to security at the address provided. Call the LC Circuit Court info and they will help n direct u
Show up at 8:15
This is better asked to a public defender or attorney
Contact the court cashiers on the second floor, or look on the website for the necessary paperwork. The finished docs get filled with the cashier.
Call the court at 8am. Ask for court calendaring. They can look it up by his name or case number.
There's a great crew there but they are VERY understaffed.
I'd be on the phone to the court first thing in the morning
Best parking is west of the courthouse in the butterfly lot. $6 a day
I think you can even download them from their website.
It could be dismissed or filed at a later date.
They should be able to run your name at the counter.
8:30 to 4:00
Where do I go to get a restraining order dismissed?
I would ask Google. They can help you find a site that looks trustworthy. Or you could go to the court house if they don't have it there they would certainly be able to direct you to it.
Your papers should have that documentation, but if it doesn't you can call or come in and ask
You could call and ask... Then if the answer is yes, you're already on the phone with them :-)
If you believe you may have a warrant, go to your local law enforcement agency, give them your name and birthdate, and they can look it up for you. Nobody will be able to tell you via telephone.
Address it to the courthouse c/o your judge It was my experience, don't expect a response or much to be done for you... You can call them to get this procedure verified for you
Call the clerk of courts and try to get on the docket, then bring astroglide when you go
The people I'm having a problem pleasing is the landlord or property owners. They want him to be neutered before age, rabies vaccinated, and licensed. The last 2 things are kinda hard to do with him being young still. It's Making it to where I'll live on the streets with the dog until he's old enough for rabies vacc. And to be neutered. Neutering comes at 6 months and I have a signed note from the vet saying that and that he should wait to get rabies vacc. Because of age. If that is accepted by her then I still need to get him licensed here at this young age.... but How?
I'm sure you can get a restraining order at Lane County Courts during normal operating hours
Call the cops they will accompany you to your mother in laws home to pickup any of your belongings I think.
