the idea of this park is great. the bathrooms are well maintained. the pavilions are quite dirty and the amount of geese is overwhelming. you can’t walk in the grass with out shoes because it’s covered in goose feces. frustrating that the nice grass is gross to be on when there’s so much nice empty field.

My wife and I like biking through this park. Very tranquil place and so beautiful.

This is a wonderful county park in Orange County. I would recommend coming here for a run or bike ride with friends/family. Near the beginning you see a sign that has a 5k running course mapped out - which is great for anyone training for a race or just training in general. There are a lot of tabled and sheltered picnic areas for large group gatherings and I saw many birthday parties. The slightly annoying thing is that you may have to pay for parking sometimes.

This park is awesome. Plenty to do here with the family. Walking around the lake and park, fishing, tables by the lake for fishing, awesome playgrounds for kids (closed due to CV19), tennis courts, volleyball, BBQ pits, and nice grass area for family games or flying a kite. It's a regional park so your going to pay $5-$10 depending on schedule and holidays I'm sure. Restrooms are clean and maintained well and they have a fish cleaning station by the lake. Definately recommend it.

I have seen small portable bbq's used. Shelters may be reserved so always check with a Ranger before setting up.
Laguna Niguel Regional Park's acres of turf surround a 44 acre lake, which is regularly stocked with catfish, bass and, during the winter months only, trout . A fishing license is required for anyone older than 16 to fish.
IT'S (NOT) THE DUCKS AND GEESE'S FAULT! It's a very nice park! And there's fishing there! It's also a refuge!
It's open now
Y E S This LAGUNA NIGUEL Regional OC Park, Opens at 7 am Daily! The per vehicle, Cost for Park entrance is $3/M-F & $5/Sat & Sun! And the City's Fabulous Fireworks Show is held at this Very Park, Every Year!
Yes. A lot of people do. Also connects to other trails along aliso creek and canyon for longer rides if you like.
Yes, parking is available inside the park. There is a $3 charge for per car to enter the park.
Laura is correct. The other caveat is that you cannot reserve same day.
The first out and back portion of the trail is about 2 miles long. After that you have a few different options. You can continue to go out and back or do the loop which is about 19-20Km. The trail is all dirt.
Yes they do, you have to check dfg site
Yes only for the gazebos with BBQ's, running water and electricity.
Yes. Must be on leash. There's a dog trainer that walks a pack of them.
Not sure call the Park Bureau
You cab fish in this lake, there is no extra fee besides parking ($5) and you do need a California state fishing license. I have caught trout in this lake but I have not caught any bass. The website has more information on the fish species in the lake. Also, you can check the CA DFG fish stocking schedule to see which weeks they will plant stocked fish.
Bring your dog on a leash ...dog park on ridge route and Moulton
The lake was not stocked this week. Also when it is stocked location will not matter. If you want a guaranteed stocked fish you will need to go to a pay lake. If you want to visit a beautiful park and get your line wet this place is great.
I don't think there is an actual maximum capacity because they're outdoor and you know so there is only Max Capacity to find for indoor places I have seen parties with like 50 or more people as a matter of fact our company had a party there for the whole company at 1 Cabana. Our company consisted of over a hundred people although they didn't all show up
