I’ve eaten here three times. My wife many many times. My first two times were great experiences. I have gluten sensitivities and my wife can’t have sugar, both due to medical issues. We arrived on our motorcycles during a weeknight dressed in nice regular clothes but we did walk in with our helmets. Tho there were only 10-12 people in restaurant the hostess seated us in the very rear corner of the back room. The server was a sweet young lady who chatted with us for a few minutes before we ordered. Since we’d been there before and had favorites that we’d eaten only a month prior that were safe for our dietary limitations we ordered as soon as she came to the table instead of looking at menus. After a few minutes she came back and said that they couldn’t serve us anything other than our drinks because they didn’t have gluten free and sugar free options. She looked uncomfortable and was super nice and apologetic. We nicely explained we’d eaten there before and they could accommodate us. She went back and then a manager came back with her. The manager was rude and told us she’d comp my soda and my wife’s tea but that they couldn’t serve us. We left disappointed because it was a date night and we’d eaten there before. We both love sushi and the fried tofu as well as other menu items.

This was our first time here. We had just ridden 10 miles on it towpath trail in Cuyahoga Valley National Park on an 85° day and we looked like it. We were just looking for a new Asian place to eat at and found this place. We had no idea what kind of place it was because we couldn't tell from the facade outside. I wish we didn't look the way we did, but it was what it was; we were hungry and it smelled delicious. This is a very nice, chill, swanky place. We went on July 2nd of 2022, so not only was it 4th of July weekend but there were are also protests going on downtown, so it wasn't very crowded at all. We sat at the bar. The bartender was super nice and excellent at his job and at being attentive to us. We ordered pork gyoza, Singapore noodles, and chicken in garlic, along with three sushi rolls. Everything was delicious. Probably the most savory meal I had in a long time. My boyfriend also ordered a beer and I got an iced tea. It came $99 with tax, but this isn't a place we would go to all the time and we were treating ourselves. We will definitely go back. It's also about a 50 minute drive from our house to get here, but that's not going to deter me from eating there again.

Everything I've had at Cilantro has been terrific. I particularly enjoyed the massaman curry and eggplant basil. These are dishes I've had at many places but Cilantro made them as well as I've ever had them. The sauces with the satay were also terrific. That's what has really stood out to me so far in my visits to Cilantro. I'm a sauce guy and their sauces are superb. I also really like the ambiance at Cilantro!

Staff was polite, friendly, and knowledgeable of dishes. Price was right on point for nice portions. I'm no sushi officianado but everything tasted fresh, from the veggies to the fish. Definitely recommend.

Masks are worn by staff. Guests wear masks when not sitting. Tables are really spaced out at front of restaurant. Hand sanitizer present. I've been to a few restaurants lately. Cilantro was at top of list at taking precautions that I saw.

Do they take Samsung pay? I've heard their food is good, But they turned me away one night. Just wanted to know if anyone else has used it there?

I've gone in for dinner around 5 without reservations and no wait, but I would recommend reservations, especially during the holidays or when there are events downtown.
