The units aren’t bad, especially now that they are renovating them inside and out. Ive never had issues with maintenance/management, but this place changes management companies frequently, so things could be different in six months. Whats great about this place is that the rent is cheap- but you get what you pay for. This place definitely attracts some unsavory individuals so you’ll still have to deal with the loud music, loud arguments, and littering that come with that territory. Lately the parking lot has been a bit of a hangout spot- as I speak there are some people sitting in a busted Kia doing God-knows what, and I’m pretty sure they don’t even live here. They do this every day for hours on end. Other people will mill around having loud/vulgar conversations that apparently can’t be taken inside. Other units will enjoy the odd party here and there that will drunkenly spill into the walkways at 3 AM. Oh, well. Thats low cost livin’.

Moving in to a remodeled unit.. nicely done. The property manager is very nice and seems to be aware of her residents and their needs. The property seems well kept, maintained and quiet. Pricing is very fair especially with the upgraded apartments.

I lived at Alphada Place for about a year and a half, while I was working on a Master's degree program and teaching at Kent State University, and it was by far the worst apartment I have ever lived in. During my first few months there, I had issues with my fridge leaking and a bad clog in my bathroom sink (rendering it unusable). After multiple times contacting the office over the span of a few weeks to have maintenance repair them, I finally managed to get them to come out and fix my sink. The leak in my refrigerator was never fixed during the entire time I lived there. When summer came, I found out that my AC unit wasn't working either. This also took multiple weeks to fix, and because we were hit with a heatwave, I had to go out and buy an AC unit of my own so that I could live in my apartment. When they finally did come out to fix it, they did not install the correct size, so there were one-inch gaps around parts of the unit where bugs could easily get in. To keep that from happening, I had to stuff paper towels around it. Right after giving my thirty-days notice at the end of April, I was notified that I had never paid my heating bill through their third-party billing company. I complained to the office because I had never received a bill, but it turned out that the information was never changed over from a previous tenant, so they dropped all of the late fees. Based on my experience, I would never recommend Alphada Place or Castle Apartments to anyone, and if you already live there, I would encourage you to document everything as I did.

Yes. But you might want to call to check availability.
Yes they do
Diane busley Its more important that you should read the google reviews on Rem commercial, the management company that owns alphada place. They are an awful company to rent from. They have very shady practices, unannounced entries, they rarely if ever fix maintenance issues. Read the google reviews.
