My experience was outstanding. Nice, gentle horse and appropriate for my beginner level. The guided tour with Trainer Natalie was amazing. She is very knowledgeable and experienced. After the tour I felt very relaxed and renewed. I can't wait to go back!

I came here for a trail ride for my sixteenth birthday and I had my first ever lone horseback experience here. Until coming here I’d never been on a horse without someone sitting with or leading the horse I was on, and I’m so glad the place I had my first lone ride was at a place that had excellent riding trails, guides, and horses! I felt at ease and safe throughout the whole ride, the only time I felt nervous was during the first minute or so after getting on my trail horse, but thanks to Thistles (the horse I rode) smooth movements and easy steps I was able to get completely relaxed within the first couple of feet of the ride! I highly recommend coming here for first time horse trail rides, trust me, you won’t be disappointed!

Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. This was our first time on a horse, and we had a great time. We were placed into a group of six (6), not counting our two guides. It sounds like the trail you go on changes from time to time, but we were taken to the back of the park up the hills. As of late 2018, the prices are $55 per hour per person. They have one (1) and two (2) hour ride options. If you're never ridden before, I'd suggest the one hour ride, as you will likely be sore by then.

These people are so unprofessional. I booked a 9:00 AM 2 hour ride for my daughters 16th birthday. They called to confirm and had it booked for the week before. When they called back the following week to confirm we were coming, they were only able to accommodate a 1 hour ride because they had double booked other rides. I cancelled the ride with them and would not recommend this company to anyone. They are also the most expensive horse rental around too. Call Prado Equestrian center for a good deal.

If it rains, the rangers close the trails in the park due to wet and muddy conditions (also unsafe riding conditions), which means we cant ride if it rains

Yes you can
You are required to call in advance to schedule trail rides and to set up times for riding lessons. I hope this helps!
