We went specifically to pick up a Specialized Levo Alloy Comp mountain bike. Josh was beyond great to work with, but... he did charge us double the price to no fault of his own since he sold us two instead of one. :) I guess I can blame Josh on his enthusiasm during the sale that made us pick up the second one. Actually, most of the employees were more excited about our bikes than we were, and we were extremely excited. Thank you for the great experience and the riding will be a blast. Wish more shops were like this but then again that is what separates the best from the others.

This store is the reason more stores like this should exist. We had an amazing experienced unmatched by any shoe store of any kind across the country. The breadth of knowledge from their staff is beyond compare. Our experience with Owen was life-changing. His knowledge and expertise is apparent, but his care, customer service and approach is far superior to any experience we've had. Stop by to rent some gear after talking to them about what we were looking for. Once I got to the place they didn't really have what we needed to make everyone comfortable. They were able to mishmash some stuff together so it wasn't a complete fail but kind of bummed that we didn't get what we were really looking for.

Positively my favorite recreational store in NCW. Quality supplies and equipment for real outdoor adventures. And they have a bike shop to service what they sell. And a similar ski shop. One thing they have that many so-called sports stores don't: maps. For hiking, these physical maps are essential.
