Blick is really the only game in town if you want truly professional art supplies. Whether you are painting, drawing, or sketching, they have everything you need, and 100 things you want. The staff is helpful and not pushy. Parking is free as long as you go inside to get a free parking pass, otherwise the ACE parking people will ticket you to earn their own paycheck.

Edit: The store in San Diego is lovely and all their most of their people were a delight. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about the bigger corporation. website is ridiculous! customer service is not any better HINT: if you need to make a video to show people how to navigate your website, then it SUCKS. After trying for 5 hours to create a curbside list, that was missing half the directions needed, I finally discovered the simple item (vine charcoal sticks) i needed was out of stock🤬

I’m in art school and it’s hard to fine all the materials needed. Coming here solved all my problems in finding the random things on the list. Every single person on the staff was so helpful! I think her name was Ivy but she stopped what she was doing and helped my find everything I needed around the store. Definitely the place to go for your art supplies!

LOVED the amount of selection of paints and color pencils this place had. Literally aisles and aisles of color and different mediums from so many brands. Even found a little clearance section for wax seals.

Ordering online is still the better option. Blick is big enough, but you'll be hard pressed to find them having sufficient depth for a school on hand. That's just not how detail works these days.
Yes on the south side of the entrance. Just park, go into the store and ask someone at the front counter (located towards the left upon entering the store) for parking validation. They'll provide you with a laminated parking voucher-just go back out and put it in your windshield for whoever checks that stuff and before you leave, just make sure to bring it back in to them. 👍👍
