I used to love taking my Pet pup, Missy to this hospital, however when the new owners came in they completely made it into a circus. The last time I made an appointment there I was on hold for 45 minutes and When I arrived I sat in the waiting room for over an hour. I let them know that I was on a lunch break and that I had to leave. Once I said I was leaving they opened up a room for me and I sat there for 45 minutes. Finally, the doctor came in and she looked like she had not showered or brushed her hair in a week. She also had labored breathing, her eyes looked dilated and red and she kept repeating herself. I think there may be a bigger underlying problem. My dog has never tried to bite anybody but Missy did not like this doctor at all. So, after waiting on the phone for an hour, sitting in the waiting room for over an hour, and sitting in the exam room for an hour, they sent Missy home because she did try to bite the doctor. Again never has Missy displayed this type of behavior before. I came back for the follow-up appointment with the drugs prescribed for Missy to make her sleepy, the doctor diagnosed her with eczema. I was like are you kidding me? I said that on the phone when I made the appointment. Ok. So we know for sure she has Eczema. I just wanted a prescription to help Missy. They sent me home with a prescription list costing over $700.00. What a JOKE! Do I have IDIOT written on my face? I must because they made me feel like if I did not buy the meds I was a bad dog owner. This place is run by unorganized, unsanitary, and people that will try to take advantage of you! DO NOT TAKE YOUR BELOVED PET HERE!!

Be coming to here since my first dog princess very caring. They are by far the most reasonable prices and they're init for the care of the animal not for making money. I totally trust the Dr. and her staff with the care of Sierra. Thank you for helping her to break her fever and feel 100% better.

I have been to 4/5 different vet hospital in San Diego since I moved from Texas! I have never seen so many uncaring vet clinics and their to rip you off! I had a great a vet in Texas! Spring Valley Vet Hospital, has been very helpful and a very caring staff! Yes, they have long waits and the staff seems unorganized. It's a very small clinic and spring valley clinic is extremely busy! I have seen the front desk, juggle the phones, the discharge and checking patients! I rather have long wait times and as I know my pet is in good hands! I highly recommend spring valley clinic! I read some recently posted review about how disorganized the clinic is and busy. Did you ever bother to read my or other reviews?! Everything they just states, are the topics that I covered! There are some people that feel entitled! As I said...There unstaffed and have more clients then they can handle. They could just stop taking clients just like a lot of vet clinics in San Diego are doing! If the person that posted the review about the wait time and just complaining in general. If you want the blame anyone, you should blame the local government, that will not let business get back to full capacity! I'm very critical about my pet care! I would still recommend them.

Haven't used them myself but I know 3 different people who use this vet & love her! Actually planning on trying my dogs there as soon as I get some $ 2 take them.
